Eiken Grade 2 · Writing

Hello! I would like to practice for the Eiken Grade 2 writing test. I am sending you this page: it has today’s TOPIC, the three POINTS, and the three steps of the lesson.

Today's topicNo.5

It is often said that people today use too much electricity. Do you agree with this opinion?

POINTS
Convenience

The environment

The lessonSTEPS 1–3

1
I will read the TOPIC aloud. Then I will ask for your opinion and your reason on each of the three POINTS.
- Please give your opinion and one reason for each POINT.
- If you can, give a reason for both sides — agree and disagree — so I can choose my own opinion.
2
Please help me finish writing.
To pass the Eiken writing test:
- Give an opinion and two reasons for it.
- The suggested length is 80–100 words.
- The three POINTS are only examples. Reasons from other points of view are also fine.
- An answer that does not answer the TOPIC, or is off topic, may get 0 points.
- Please help me write it in my own words. Please do not write the answer for me.
- A clear order helps: opinion → reason 1 → reason 2 → conclusion.
3
If I make any grammar mistakes, or if you have some advice, please let me know.
- Please show me the correct form for each grammar mistake.
- One or two tips to make my answer better are very welcome.
