My tutor, Joy told me about her hometown, Cebu. It is a fairly big city in the Philippines, but she grew up in a smaller area outside the center. The city is known for its beautiful beaches and diving spots. A popular food there is lechon, which is roasted pork that people eat at celebrations. What she likes most about her hometown is that the sea is only twenty minutes away, so she can swim after work when the weather is good. Overall, her hometown sounds much warmer and much closer to nature than mine, and I would like to see those beaches for myself someday.
